As in previous editions, in parallel with the 7 continuing education courses, you can register for the open workshop in violin making or bow making. A unique opportunity to experiment with new practices with your colleagues, to have a quiet session outside your workshop, take advantage of this time to work on joint projects or apply the new knowledge recently acquired if you choose to stay after a course that you just followed.
You stay for a minimum of 3 days and up to 14 days maximum.
NEW for this year: copy of an italian violin and bows by Nicolas Maire from 3D SCAN
examples of other topics
– molding of historical frogs and bow heads
– experimentation with musicians on white-mounted instruments
– making a violin when you’re a bow maker and making a bow when you’re a luthier
– using and making the best with woods whose characteristics are generally considered unsuitable
etc
But of course, you can also suggest work projects to your colleagues, or send us ideas for themes that are close to your heart at: campusformation@aladfi.com
