The CAMPUS INTERNATIONAL ALADFI is organised over a period of 15 days in the same place of work and residence (La Ferme de Villefavard in Limousin (France)).
This 4th edition includes:
· An open workshop: violin making and bow making
NEW for 2025:
- Symposium on the mechanical structure and operation of the bow (architecture, camber) and its adjustment: Lectures by international guest renowned bow makers / Workbench demonstrations / Trials and tests by musician / Debates / Workshop (Duration: 3 days 15, 16 and 17 May 2025)
- preparing a copy of a incredible Guarneri del Gesù (project planned on 3 years)
- going on molding of historical frogs and bow heads by Nicolas Maire
· Listening and tuning workshops with the presence of a quartet in residence, a concert
· Talks, presentations, conferences…
